YEARS OF CLANDESTINE BACANORA
THIS IS BACANORA,
SONOREAN PASSION
Sonoran Passion
Bacanora
Bacanora is much more than a drink. It is the story of the Sierra Madre de Sonora, where generations of Sonorans have perfected their art in secret.
In 1915, it was banned by the then Governor, General Plutarco Elías Calles. For more than seven decades, Bacanora survived in hiding.
Today, Pasión Sonorense brings this wonderful spirit to life so that it can take its rightful place among the finest agave spirits in the world.
COLOR
Polished transparent that shines inside the bottle.
SCENT
Floral and herbal notes of the Sonoran forest during the rainy season.
FLAVOR
Sweet drink with notes of fruit, citrus and fresh wild herbs.
BEST EXPERIENCE
Straightforward, kissing the rim of the glass. It is very good in the company of citrus flavors such as orange and grapefruit, hibiscus and blueberries.
Pasión is made from Agave Pacífica Yaquiana, typical of the Sonoran mountains, and is a combination of mature capon agaves and Churis agaves.
Cooked in a stone oven heated with mesquite wood.
It has a natural fermentation with wild yeast.
It is ground with a mechanical hammer mill that only removes the husks from the pineapple.
It is double distilled and finished in a copper still.
All production, including bottling, is carried out within the protected designation of origin.
